In 2026, the CEOs Against Cancer – St. Louis Chapter proudly celebrates a meaningful milestone: 15 years of executive leadership united in the fight against cancer.

As we reflect on this anniversary, it’s hard not to look back at where it all began. The early meetings—captured in the photos you’ll see here—were small in size but bold in vision. A group of business leaders came together with a shared belief that their collective influence, networks, and leadership could help accelerate progress against cancer in our community.

What started as a conversation quickly became a commitment.

Over the past 15 years, that commitment has grown into a powerful Chapter that has helped drive critical funding for research, patient support, advocacy, and programs that remove barriers to care. More importantly, it has created a culture of leadership rooted in purpose—where CEOs and executives lead not just with strategy, but with heart.

This anniversary is a moment to honor those who helped build the foundation: the founding members, early champions, past chairs, and partners who believed in the mission before the impact was fully visible. Their willingness to lead set the standard for everything that followed.

As we celebrate 15 years, we are equally focused on what lies ahead. Cancer continues to impact every industry, every company, and every family. The next chapter will require the same courage, collaboration, and conviction that defined the first.

These early photos remind us that meaningful change often starts simply—with people willing to show up, lean in, and lead together.

Here’s to 15 years of impact—and to the work still ahead.
