Enterprise Mobility Leaders Serve Up Hope at the St. Louis Hope Lodge

A hot meal can mean so much more than food on a plate—especially when you’re away from home facing cancer treatment.

Recently, volunteers from Enterprise Mobility spent time at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in St. Louis, preparing and serving a hot meal for guests and caregivers staying at the Lodge.

For Hope Lodge guests, days can be filled with appointments, treatments, uncertainty, and time away from the comforts of home. Having a meal waiting at the end of the day is one less thing to worry about—and an important reminder that they are surrounded by a community that cares.

That’s what makes volunteer experiences like this so meaningful.

The Enterprise Mobility team brought more than a meal to Hope Lodge. They brought conversation, connection, hospitality, and a sense of home to people navigating some of the most difficult days of their cancer journey.

The World Wide Technology American Cancer Society Hope Lodge provides a free place to stay for people who must travel away from home for cancer treatment. The new St. Louis Hope Lodge was made possible through an ambitious $10 million community campaign back in 2020/2021, reflecting the incredible generosity of companies, donors, and community leaders across the region.

But the impact of Hope Lodge extends far beyond providing a room. It is about creating a community where guests feel supported—and volunteers play an important role in making that possible.

We are grateful to Enterprise Mobility and its team members for continuing to demonstrate what community leadership looks like. Whether it’s preparing a meal, volunteering time, or supporting the American Cancer Society mission in other ways, their commitment helps make Hope Lodge feel a little more like home.

Sometimes hope looks like a breakthrough in research. Sometimes it looks like a place to stay. And sometimes, it looks like a hot meal shared around a table.
