We are proud to officially announce the launch of the Kansas City CEOs Against Cancer Chapter, a new coalition of business leaders united by a shared belief: leadership extends beyond the boardroom and into the communities we serve.
CEOs Against Cancer is a key initiative of the American Cancer Society, designed to engage CEOs and senior executives in the fight against cancer through leadership, advocacy, and action. With the launch of the Kansas City Chapter, we are creating a powerful platform for local business leaders to leverage their influence, relationships, and resources to help save lives and reduce the burden of cancer across the region.
Kansas City is known for its strong sense of community, collaboration, and leadership. This Chapter builds on that legacy by bringing together CEOs who are committed to making a difference — not only through philanthropy, but by engaging their organizations, elevating cancer prevention and early detection, and driving meaningful, measurable impact.

This chapter is about more than meetings or events. It’s about aligning leadership with purpose and creating a sustained, collective impact that no single organization could achieve alone.
We are deeply grateful to the founding members who stepped forward to help launch this Chapter. Their early commitment sets the tone for what this group will become — bold, collaborative, and focused on results. The momentum behind this effort is strong, and the opportunity ahead is significant.
The launch of the Kansas City CEOs Against Cancer Chapter marks an important milestone, but it is only the beginning. Together, we will harness the power of executive leadership to help create a future where cancer has less impact on the people, families, and communities we care about most.
For CEOs interested in learning more about how to get involved, we invite you to join the conversation and be part of what comes next.
