Late March, several employees from the CEO Chapter Member Companies showed up to Shave to Save St. Louis—and it served as a powerful reminder of what leadership truly looks like in action.
Shave to Save is more than an event. It’s a moment where individuals and teams come together to make a visible, personal commitment to the fight against cancer. Participants literally step up to shave their heads in solidarity with patients, helping raise critical funds for the American Cancer Society’s World Wide Technology Hope Lodge in St. Louis—a place where patients and their families can stay during treatment at no cost.
What stood out most wasn’t just the energy in the room or the impact of the moment—it was the consistency and commitment of two incredible partners: World Wide Technology and CSI Leasing, Inc. Both organizations have been part of this movement since the very beginning, showing up year after year not only with financial support, but with heart, leadership, and a willingness to lead by example.

That’s what sets true leaders apart.
It’s easy to support a cause from the sidelines. It’s something entirely different to step forward—to participate, to engage your employees, and to visibly align your organization with a mission that matters.
Because when leaders go first, something powerful happens.
Employees follow. Teams rally. Communities take notice. And most importantly, patients feel the impact.
That’s when support becomes more than a donation—it becomes a shared experience. That’s when hope becomes tangible.
Moments like Shave to Save remind us of a simple but important truth:
You don’t have to do everything—but you do have to do something.
And when leadership chooses to act, the ripple effect can be extraordinary.
We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to demonstrate what’s possible when businesses, leaders, and individuals come together to make a difference.
