This week, the St. Louis Cardinals front office stepped off the field and into the kitchen — volunteering their time to prepare a home-cooked meal for guests at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in St. Louis. Their generosity filled the building with warmth, comfort, and a sense of community that our guests — many far from home while undergoing treatment — will never forget.
Hope Lodge is more than a place to stay; it’s a refuge during one of the toughest chapters in a person’s life. When groups like the Cardinals give their time, it creates moments of normalcy, connection, and joy for patients and caregivers navigating cancer. We are grateful to the Cardinals organization for leading with heart and for reminding us what community in St. Louis truly looks like.
Want to make a meaningful difference? We’re always looking for corporate teams, community groups, and volunteer organizations to host meals, provide activities, or support the day-to-day needs of Hope Lodge guests. If your group would like to get involved, we’d love to welcome you into the Hope Lodge family.
Hope, comfort, and community start with you. Join us — and help ensure every guest feels at home during their cancer journey.
